The Electric in Birmingham is the UK’s oldest working cinema and is now home to sofas, a bar and waiter service. We have two digital screens and show a mixture of the latest quality mainstream, independent, foreign and classic films.

Ticket prices for 2012 are:

Sofa: £12.80
Standard: £7
Concession: £4.80

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS THE ELECTRIC CINEMA IN 
BIRMINGHAM NOT LONDON, PORTOBELLO RD
For those customers coming by car, we now have a partnership with the Albany NCP car park located on St Jude’s Passage, opposite The Victoria pub (see P sign on the map above). Between the hours of 5pm and midnight, our customers can park there for just £3.50.
All you have to do is mention that you’re parked there when you come to our box office to collect your cinema tickets, and we’ll give you a special ticket.
When you return to the car park, insert your initial car park ticket, which will bring up the normal tariff. Then insert our ticket, and the price will automatically drop to £3.50.
