Facilities
Screens for HireScreen One is our main auditorium. It is the larger of our two rooms and is located on the ground floor. The back of the room is fitted with 24 luxury sofas seats designed with a living-room feel. It sits 108 people.
Screen Two is slightly smaller than Screen One and it sits 78 people. Fitted with a D-Cinema projector, it also houses our Xpand 3D system.
Corporate Events
We are able to cater for a number of different kinds of corporate events, both screens housing stages with lighting. We can display PowerPoint presentations straight from a laptop on to the big screen to create a really big impression with your clients. Business logos or indents can also be projected onto the screen as a corporate backdrop to your event.
Finally, we offer a filming and photography service to capture your event for website promotion.
Premieres/Screenings
From shorts to feature film premieres, we are the perfect venue to allow film makers the opportunity to have their films screened at an affordable cost. Our digital theatre is an ideal environment to show your film just as the director intended. We also play host to local film makers’ competitions or university dissertation presentations.
Private Parties
Fancy your own cinema for just you and your friends? You can hire either screen for birthday parties, hen dos, stag dos or just a fun night with work colleagues. Please contact us directly for film availability.
We can project a slide show of photos as your guests enter the auditorium, baby photos as a birthday surprise or uni snaps to celebrate graduation. You can also request specific music to be played in the room as your guests find their seats.
We have also started offering events where we hook up a console (either Xbox or Playstation) to our projector and allow people to play video games on our state-of-the-art digital screen. It's the perfect event for stag dos or something different for corporate team-building exercises.
Weddings
Why not hold your memorable day in the oldest cinema in the country? The art deco glamour of The Electric Cinema provides the most romantic setting for your wedding. With raked seating and a central aisle the main theatre on the ground floor lends itself perfectly to marriage ceremonies. Enjoy your most special day with the immortal backdrop of the silver screen.

Catering
With all private hires there are options for a wide selection of catering, from snacks and treats on arrival to canapés, buffets and waiter service. With our extensive bar we can even design a cocktail menu to suit the theme of your event.
