The Electric Cinema goes on holiday this September

15th Sep 2017

We're going on holiday this September with our brand new Flickerama festival - three fantastic film events taking place over one weekend at Umberslade Farm Park, just 30 minutes from Birmingham.

Flickerama - Labyrinth Masquerade Ball (Friday 15th September)

Join us for a night of mystery and wonder as Flickerama hosts a very special Masquerade Ball alongside a screening of Jim Henson’s 1986 cult favourite Labyrinth.

Flickerama - Cult and Comic Day (Saturday 16th September)

Our genre day features an Adam West Tribute, an interactive screening of The Room, aka ‘the worst movie ever made’, and a special preview screening of Amaryllis, the first silent film made in the UK for over 80 years. We're also showing Guardians Of The Galaxy, Edward Scissorhands, Ghostbusters, Deadpool and finishing the day with Harry Potter & The Philosopher's Stone followed by a Wizard party.

Flickerama - Family Film Day (Sunday 17th September)

A day out with a difference where the whole family can dress up to enjoy a Frozen Sing-a-long, Harold Lloyd's Safety Last! with live piano and a special Kids Cosplay competition. Also showing are The Goonies, The Lego Batman Movie, Matilda, Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory and Tom Hanks in Big. Complete the day with Jim Henson’s Labyrinth and our second, family friendly Masquerade Ball.
