Seats free for Booked Out
We have another special screening planned for Tuesday 20th March, when we'll be showing the new British indie Booked Out, complete with an introduction and post-film Q&A with both cast and crew.
The film itself is a quirky romantic drama that concerns Ailidh (Mirren Burke), a young woman who likes writing graphic novels and spying on her neighbours, the latter leading her to new lad Jacob (Rollo Weeks). Unfortunately, Jacob has eyes for Jacqueline (Claire Garvey), but Ailidh spots an opportunity to get closer to her intended beau through her slightly crazy neighbour Mrs Nicholls (Sylvia Sims), who's still coping with her husband's death.
The screening begins at 6.30pm, and both director Bryan O'Neil and lead actress Claire Garvey will be on hand both before and after to talk about their experiences making the film and the challenges of getting an indie project on screen. To book tickets, just click here.
