Services

Audio Services
The basement of the Electric houses a fantastic 5.1 dubbing theatre and recording studio. Audio is a speciality here as Tom Lawes has over 20 years experience mixing sound and music. Tom has also composed music for many commercials, TV series, films and video games.
We can guarantee a first class VO recording service along with excellent foley recording, SFX design and a final mix.

Event Filming
Utilising our in house HD cameras we can film live events at the Electric or other venues. Back in the edit suit we can finish the film for the web, DVD, blu-ray or digital cinema.

Bespoke Documentary
With the take up of broadband, video has become ubiquitous on the web. It’s a fantastic way to sell a product or service but cutting through the information overload that the web throws at us every day is a challenge.
We are providing a new service to help communicate your brand message by creating documentaries about what you do, and crucially the human stories behind the business.
The final films can be uploaded to Youtube and tagged with both the company name and any relevant meaning so they will show up on Google searches. The films can also be embedded into websites so they can be accessed directly.
It’s a cost effective way of communicating what a company does without the hard sell that can turn people away from more traditional corporate films. It can also double up as a morale booster for staff when a film about them confirms the importance of their role within an organization.

Digital Cinema Encoding
Whilst digital cinema has brought down the cost of releasing a film theatrically, it can still be expensive to create a digital print.  We are now offering conversion of digital video to a Digital Cinema Print or DCP.
This means your films can be distributed on hard disk and shown at any DCI compatible cinema worldwide. We also offer the service of test viewing the film on our Christie 2K Projector.

HD Screening
Using our HD digital screen we can show any format from DVD, blu-ray, DCP or direct from a laptop. The colour calibrated Christie Projector allows a fantastic viewing environment to check the grade of your project and to enjoy your hard work on the big screen!
