Brie Larson stars as Carol Danvers in Marvel Studios' first female-led superhero film and the last MCU entry before this summer's Endgame.

The story follows Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe's most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races. Set in the 1990s, Captain Marvel is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Did You Know? Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury) and Clark Gregg (Phil Coulson) will be digitally de-aged in order for their characters to look like their younger selves, since the movie is set in the 1990s. This is the first time Marvel has done de-aging for characters for an entire movie. They previously used this tactic in Ant-Man (2015), Captain America: Civil War (2016), Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2 (2017), and Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018), but only for flashback scenes.
